Money Matters

Windsor Community Church is mostly funded through the giving of its Members and supporters. We receive grants from the Synod of Otago and Southland from time to time.

Our theology of giving is New Testament based. 2 Corinthian 9 explains about Christian giving, and our teaching takes to heart verse 7:

2 Corinthians 9:7 (NLT) "You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”

 

It really helps us with our cashflow if you are able to give by automatic payment or through the envelope system.  Windsor Community Church is a registered charity so those who support us financially can receive a receipt at the end of the financial year and claim a tax rebate on their giving.
